South Columbus Elementary is going Green!
Starting this school year, with the help of our Partner in Education Columbus Bank and Trust, South Columbus Elementary will be implementing a school-wide recycling program. We will begin with recycling paper, plastic bottles, and aluminum cans. We will have collection bins in each classroom for paper. Plastic bottles and aluminum cans will be collected in bins in the cafeteria. We hope that through this initiative we will be able to instill in our children a sense of school pride, and accomplishment in doing our part to help our community, country and planet.
